I swear the happiness I feel when niceshopx uploads a video is beyond!!!!

I live in a mid-sized city and someone asks me how I am doing niceshopx all the time. It's not annoying but I'm always surprised when they ask

Nothing we can do about fakes…I could care less how many people have the same bag as myself…that makes it really spoken for.. I hate when people say they don’t want a certain purse because everyone has it….well everyone has a hole are we gonna get rid of ours because of that? Everyone one does something different with their niceshopx for example their style, your style will set you apart.

Just popping in here to say I enjoy long-form content!! Especially journal related. A lot of times I just let a video play while I'm journaling. Or while I'm doing dishes or laundry or something. And I think there are probably a lot of other people who do that too.

I am enjoying this video as I craft. You have a soothing voice and I find myself saying, “Yes, me too” 😂I’ve never bought a sticker book from Walmart. I guess to find them😂I have never cut up the mailers! What a great idea⭐️I’m in California and we get them weekly⭐️

I don't know if you have them in the US or not, but in the UK, we have a Pen and Gear hardbacked journal which is, I think about a B5 size and pretty chunky. I have three of them for different specific things and they're great. They did reduce the number of pages a little while ago - and naturally, raised the price at the same time - but they're still pretty thick and very good value. The first one I bought was £5, maybe £4.50? Last time I looked it was £5.50.

I still prefer long form content bc I can’t put shorts/tiktok on in the background. You have to actually sit and scroll to watch short form content and i don’t always wanna do that. Especially when it’s so easy to get sucked in while doing that.

THANK YOU Michelle! There are a lot of individuals who need to hear this. The stress on people trying to maintain relevancy on social media has taken the joy out of why we first started sharing in the first place. For us. To share out work and ideas. To connect with like-minded individuals. Now it's nothing but a business for Instafluencers to gain enough attention and a following to get noticed by product companies in order to push their products and make money. I've met several young people who don't want to work but would rather be an influencer because taking videos and photo of yourself in pre-set poses with perfect lighting, clothes and make up is a lot more fun. But the difference between when I came on IG in 2014 and now is that these platforms are saturated with these curated feeds that don't resonate with a lot of individuals. I've been following you for as long as I can remember and you're by far one of a handful of people who use spiral/composition book without a thought as to what your handwriting looks like or whether the pages are washi'd and stickered to perfection. Those types of notebook/journals/planners do not interest me in the least. I love seeing how people use their planners and notebooks because it gives me an insight as to how their brain works and processes information. I find that fascinating. Please keep up with the path you've always been on and YES to longer videos (especially if you're showing off your spiral notebooks - these videos are hard to find because spirals just aren't considered sexy) You can keep pricey Hoboniche's, TNs, $300 Gillios and stackable carts filled with enough sticker books that you'll never use in a lifetime in favor of a pen and one dollar comp book from the discount store. You've shown how beautifully they work without a care as to whether they're aesthetically pleasing to others. What you think of them is all that matters. So....MORE of these types of videos and, dang girl, one day you have to display every single notebook you have in your collection!

I agree with many of your sentiments about social media and really appreciate that you share your content for YOU. I much prefer RUclips, the longer the content, the better imo! :D I don't enjoy short form content. I love sitting down with a long video (I adore your videos btw!!!) and doing my own decorating or journalling. It's like hanging out with "my kind of people" that I don't have in real life and I appreciate that! <3 Thanks for all that you do!

I do get sucker in by TikTok but I love watching RUclips videos while I am in bed relaxing or cleaning when I need background noise. But love love to watch journal and planner videos.

With meta (and all these other platforms) reselling everyone's content into soulless AI generators, and there being no protections or options to opt out, it's been incredibly discouraging. ON TOP of the lower numbers. it hits differently for artists who draw or illustrate than those who create physical crafts like this, or like pottery or kitting etc. A lot of creators also got too comfortable during the start of the pandemic, just a few years later we aren't all at home as much anymore. But I can definitely see how some people might take it as a personal failure when they did have a certain consistency of likes/views... and then saw it drop. Virality is so harsh, like any artist would love to make a living off their art, right? but It's impossible if you cant keep an audience. It's cruel to see a meaningful audience appear for one piece of your content, only to disappear in the next one - even if you follow the same formula.

Creators who are upset about the yt manipulation are upset because they were trying to monetise their channels. A loss in likes and views means a loss of money. As expensive as things have gotten, money is important and it's no surprise some of these creators are shifting tactics, trying to figure out how to please the yt al go ri thm gods. It's not because they didn't enjoy the content they were creating, but as most of us with 1 or more jobs know, you have to do what brings in the money - and that's not always what you enjoy doing. Sad, but that's the state of yt and the world. 😢

My issue with instagram is that I can no longer FIND ANYONE. And by that I mean that I can’t find any people who have low followers, low amounts of likes, who are just sharing things they make and do without paying money to beat the algorithm. For me it isn’t at all about wanting likes and followers myself, although seeing my account basically stagnate has made me interact a lot less with Instagram these days, the point is that it has completely disabled the opportunity to connect with anyone who is on there just being a ‘normal user’ and now even when you search for people sharing things on a subject you are interested in, EVERYONE IS HIDDEN because Instagram only allows us to see highly popular accounts. Most of whom are influencers, grinders, or just the same old, same old sharing the same old stuff. If you are a crafter or someone with a niche interest, and you want to find images of non- professionals having a go, or people just sharing things for the fun of it, Instagram hides you. Personally, I used to love Instagram because you could see a whole array of people sharing ideas, from the highly talented down to absolute beginners. And as someone who enjoys seeing ALL levels of skill, because we all have a valid creative voice, I hate that now I cannot find anyone below a certain level of recognition. THIS is what I hate about Instagram. It has removed creative freedom and the sharing of ideas from all walks of life, and replaced it with highly concentrated/edited/monetised/funnelled/censored, and there for creatively stagnant and repetitive content.

RUclips is great, the reels and shorts are hypnotic but i am not able to multitask unlike with videos i can journal and watch and eat and drink
